Power Start for Dry Cows
POWER START FOR DRY COWS
Power Start is designed for feeding with maize silage and should be offered at the rate of 0.5kg/cow/day.
At this rate, Power Start provides the correct levels of Bovatec® and anionic salts in addition to bypass proteins, important trace minerals, vitamins and magnesium. This is not intended as a complete feed and optimum dry cow preparation still requires provision of a source of starch ie, maize silage. Commence feeding not less than 14 but ideally 21 days pre-calving. Power Start is not suitable for the milking herd.
