Molasses is a thick, dark brown liquid.

Nutritional Benefits

Molasses provides a good source of readily available energy to the cow in the form of simple sugars. Molasses is useful for feeding to cows soon after calving to pique their appetites and assist in increasing intakes.

 

Feeding Levels

Feed between 500 ml (300 g DM) - 2 litres (1.5 kg DM) per cow per day.
